The human behind the screen
I've spent the last 7 years asking the same question: How do we make this simpler?
Right now, I'm based in Iași, Romania, designing at Digital Science & Research. Before that, I spent years growing at Centric IT Solutions Romania, learning that great design isn't about making things pretty but more about making things work for real people.
My passion for creating intuitive, accessible, and impactful experiences is fueled by a love for user research, design systems, and user testing.
How I bring a product to life
Every product starts with listening. I team up with Product Managers to dig into research, run user interviews, and organize what we learn into patterns that matter. From there, we build a shared vision grounded in a solid design system, thoughtful information architecture, and interactions that feel natural.
Then comes the craft: designing interfaces that are both accessible and delightful. I test them with real users early and often. Every iteration is shaped by what we hear from users, stakeholders, and the team. Transparency matters. Documentation matters. And most importantly, the work is never really done. Great products evolve through a constant cycle of listening, learning, and building.
My toolkit
Collaboration & ideation – brainstorming workshops, journey mapping, storyboarding (Miro, FigJam)
Research & testing – user interviews, usability testing, affinity mapping (Dovetail, Usertesting.com)
Design & prototyping – wireframing, interaction design, design systems (Figma, FigmaMake, Lovable, Claude, Bolt)
Project documentation – project tracking, design documentation, feedback sharing (Google Workspace)
What lights me up
I love working with teams who see design as a conversation, not a service. The kind of people who:
Get excited about solving problems together
Don't mind if the first idea isn't the right one
Care as much about why we're building something as what we're building
Let's create something meaningful together.
Outside the UI
When I'm not designing, you'll find me with a film camera in hand, chasing interesting light and shadow. There's something about traditional photography and art that keeps me grounded as it reminds me that design isn't just about problem-solving. It's about seeing the world differently and helping others see it that way too.
